Basic Product Installation Instructions 1. Ensure that requirements for using this product are met (see Section II Product Requirements below). 2. Ensure that prerequisites for the installation utility and any product-specific installation requirements are met (see Section III Installation Prerequisites below). 3. Follow the installation instructions in Section IV below, if any, to install the product on your workstation. 4. Follow the post-installation instructions in Section V below, if any, after installing this product. II. Product Requirements Required Hardware: The SPI for ASAP runs on the same server as OpenView itself; see the HP OpenView Operations for Windows documentation for information on these requirements. Minimum OS Release: Windows 2000 Server or Windows 2003 Server. Disk Space Requirement (SPI only): 10 MB, 20 MB during installation. III. Installation Prerequisites Required Hardware: Equivalent to OpenView requirements. Required Software: HP OpenView Operations for Windows version 7.x. HP ASAP Client, any version. HP ASAP Open Enterprise Management Gateway (OEM), any version. IV. Installation Instructions 1. Insert the HP OpenView SPI for ASAP CD into your CD-ROM drive. 2. If Autorun is enabled on your PC, the SPI installation will be started automatically. 3. If Autorun is not enabled on your PC, locate SETUP.EXE on the CD-ROM and double-click it to begin the SPI installation. 4. Follow the on-line instructions to complete the installation. V.
